Getting into the free spins bonus requires three scatter symbols. This signals 15 free plays and beyond the bonus of not having to pay for your spins, it also introduces some sticky wild multipliers. The base game wins can be fairly good and if you pick up a large enough group of one of the highest payers, you could see rewards in excess of 10x. I was lucky enough to keep my balance propped well above where I started and it got a little better during the bonus game as well. This game feels like an image of the Grand Canyon was photoshopped using a sketch filter and the result is a basic-looking drawing of some sandy valley with rocks and cliffs growing to the sides of the game area. The basic design is reasonable, although not much extra effort has gone into creating any crazy animations or trying to work the scenery into the game in any way. I wasn't expecting anything particularly taxing when I saw Bandit Gambit arrive and I was right not to get my hopes up and not to panic either. It is a very safe release from Max Win Gaming and it shows that this developer is perhaps not yet ready to take any big risks. We haven't seen them create anything regularly over the last year or two and it feels like maybe they're dipping a toe back into the water rather than bursting back onto the scene with a bang. Expanding wild multipliers and half-decent symbol wins will always keep fans happy though and if you can get into the bonus game with a sticky multiplier, then you might be singing this slot's praises.
