Gameplay & Features

The payline setup is fairly standard at first glance with just 14 paylines, which we've seen many times from this developer. Putting thoughts of a reskin on hold for a moment, go with the benefit of the doubt and assume that the game's main modifier is going to be something out of the ordinary. 

You pick up wins by forming matching groups of three, four or five symbols and as usual, the royal symbols have the lowest values. For the biggest and best rewards, go for a group of five matching high pay symbols, which max out at 10x. 

Moving on to the modifications, it's time to find out how this game promises to deliver some big results. I’ve mentioned the word wrath reels a couple of times, so let's stop fangirling it and get down into the details. 

When one of these symbols lands, you can expect to see it grow and turn into a wild reel. At this point, a multiplier turns up, but it isn't anything small and insignificant. Up to 300x could improve the standard payout and on top of that, winning combos with more than one of these reels present will see the multipliers added together. You get up to five wild symbols added to random positions, and this may also help bring some ridiculous wins. 

Bonus Games 

I must admit, I wasn't expecting to see the wrath reels offer quite so much potential and thankfully, they feature heavily in the free spins bonus. 

Three scatter symbols will get you 10 free spins and everything remains fairly similar but wild symbols get added, as they did before, by the wrath reel and these will carry a multiplier worth up to 100x. 

The second version requires four scatter symbols and this game has three lives. If a disc or horse symbol lands, those lives are refilled but once you see three spins without one, it's game over. 

You have a multiplier above each reel that starts at 1x and disc multipliers add to those values. The horses are collected at the top of the game area and once the battle is over, they will activate and reveal their own multiplier. These get added to the corresponding reel multiplier and they're worth up to 20x. To work out the final score, the reel multiplier is added together with the other multipliers.

The multiplying frenzy continues with the hidden bonus and this requires five status symbols to announce the start of proceedings. You get the same type of bonus as you did with the four scatter symbol version but it's a lot easier to grab more wins because you get a guaranteed grid of disc multipliers and a battle horse.

If you'd like to make each spin five times more likely to trigger a bonus game, you'll have to pay 3x for the privilege and to see a spin that guarantees one wrath reel, it'll cost you 60x. Outside the UK, the first free spins bonus comes with a 100x price tag and the standard respins game will cost 200x.
