Push Gaming references something called a Perceived Persistence mechanic, and this is apparently a way to keep us engaged while we build anticipation – the collection symbols may have something to do with it! The whole idea is that we don't need to head straight to the bonus game to feel the full force of this release, and I'm confident that they know what they're doing, considering that Wild Swarm Triple Hive and Wild Swarm 2 were both good games.

Throughout the base game, the honey wild symbol can appear along with a collectable bee, and this means that you pick up something special. The red bee is collected by the jackpot egg, the green one is picked up by the multiplier egg, the yellow one gets collected by the sticky egg, and the queen bee is collected by any random egg. The queen bee has a higher chance of triggering an egg feature.
The purpose of all of these bees being collected is to take you off to play the free spins feature. The wheel feature can activate randomly when the chest symbol lands, and this might happen at any point. You take a spin on the wheel and pick up a prize. The jackpots can come through the designated jackpot egg or through the wheel feature.
The free spins feature triggers when the collectable bees fly in and are picked up by the eggs. You get seven free spins, and if you fill an entire reel with sticky wild symbols, you pick up an extra spin.
The jackpot egg version picks up sticky wilds with jackpot tokens attached to them, and they can eventually hand out a jackpot, which might happen multiple times. You'll need six tokens for the grand prize.
The multiplier game offers multipliers worth up to 8x, and the sticky egg feature gives you four sticky wild symbols. Any combination of two egg features will give you 10 free spins and three eggs will give you 12 free spins.

At any point during the base game or the free spins bonus, this feature can activate whenever a chest symbol lands on the reels. It's always nice when you're able to pick up big jackpot prizes at any time, and as I saw, it takes little more than randomly triggering the bonus wheel, or watching your collectable bee burst open that chocolate egg. For me, I triggered it via the collectable bee, and at the end of my seven spins, I saw the maxi 50x prize come my way. Admittedly, it's not as good as the max win worth nearly 24,000x, but you get a good idea of how these multiple grand prizes could take you somewhere close. Strangely, the volatility is only medium, and that might just help your balance out while you play.
I've always liked the design of these wild swarm games, and when you throw in some chocolate eggs and a cute soundtrack, it's only going to make me like it more. Hopefully you will feel the same! The game takes place in some kind of village fate situation with what I'm guessing is an Easter hunt underway. The colours are vibrant, the animations are smooth, and everything has been designed to put a smile on your face. Playing on my mobile, I didn't quite get to appreciate everything that was on display, but it was still a pretty decent reproduction.
As far as Easter slots go, this one is up there with the best of them thanks to the multiple bonus versions and a chance to hit those jackpot prizes.
