The winning opportunities begin with 40 paylines, and payouts come from a range of lower-paying cowboy symbols and a collection of fruit machine favourites. Wild symbols pay up to 20x and substitute for regular symbols, and then you reach those scatter symbols that we spoke about earlier.
They are regular, stacked, and cash versions, and if at least 4 of them land, then you'll pick up a prize from the cash ladder. If you get 15 scatter symbols, then you grab 10,000x and leave this one horse town! Stack horseshoes can count for up to 6 regular horseshoes, and the cash ones have random prizes worth up to 1000x.

The special bonus symbol will determine which bonus game you get. You get 8 levels to work through with 3 spins per level and a designated number of scatters to collect before you advance.

Both the Epic Strike prize ladder and the bonus games are perfectly capable of taking your balance to great heights. Officially, the cash version of the bonus should be the best because it has the possibility of tipping the max win beyond 10,000x. It probably won't come as a shock to hear that I didn't hit the max payout, but I advanced through a few of the levels in the bonus game, and my best win was 1000x.
Western Gold 3 has a very distinct Game's Global look and feel with some brash, colourful reels and other elements slapped unlovingly onto the picture of a man wading through a cornfield on horseback. The two struggle to mix seamlessly, but it's obviously a combo that gets some cowboys excited! We've been here before with Western Gold 2 hitting our screens about 4 years ago. It got a good rating back then, and with so many ways to hit a big prize, I don't see why it's not going to pick up a favourable result this time. Definitely worth a few spins.
