What's tiny, green, lives in a dungeon and probably stinks? A skibbling of course! These little fellas haven't seen the light of day for some time but thanks to their cannon blast, they could be about to push their cause to the surface. Let's see how the wizards, cannons, bonuses and other features join forces to create a little bit of valuable havoc.
There are several modifiers to look forward to and these will all help the regular wins. Speaking of which, you can pick these up across all of the reels without any fixed paylines. You simply need wins to be connected across adjacent reels and no gaps in the rows.
The lowest payers will only get you up to 0.50x but the top ones can score a maximum of 5x.
The skibbling king might arrive at any moment and with him, he'll bring some rain that creates bonuses or skibblings. When the latter occurs, it adds mystery symbols to the game area and the bonus rain will obviously bring bonus symbols to the reels.
A cannon blast can trigger at the end of a spin when it's armed with five or more skibblings. It shoots them all over the grid and everywhere they land becomes a mystery symbol. These mystery symbols transform into matching symbols and if a skibbling lands on a mystery symbol, it increases the multiplier.
Arming those cannons takes place when a win occurs across a lantern and crossing high value skibbling lanterns on a win line will add up to 10 skibblings to the cannon. There's also a chance to land one or three skibblings with other lanterns.
The Paladin feature can activate if this wild symbol takes part in a win and this will collect skibblings from lit lanterns and add them to the cannon. The Wizard feature requires the wizard wild to be part of a win and this will light up all unlit lanterns and explode other symbols.
The free spins bonus is triggered when three or more bonus symbols land on the game area and during the free spins, you can pick up extra plays by landing more bonus symbols. Throughout the feature, the collected skibblings in the cannon will remain there between your spins but you won't see the cannon blast feature anymore.
A combination of bonus and super bonus symbols will get you the super version of the game with a guaranteed skibbling on each spin.
You can purchase both of these bonus games if you live outside the UK and they will cost 100x or 250x. Other options include a bonus hunt and with this you can pay 2.5x or 5x for a spin that's four times or eight times more likely to trigger a bonus. 25x will get you a king spin with a guaranteed skibbling rain or bonus rain on the first spin. If you enter the bonus game during the king spin, it's guaranteed to be the super version.
You load the cannon by landing wins across lit lanterns and this makes skibblings head off and prepare themselves to be blasted. When this occurs, five or more skibblings will land on the reels and produce mystery symbols. These will show themselves to be a matching symbol that might help create a win.
The free spins bonus comes in a regular and super format and both require three bonus symbols to land. If one of them is a super bonus symbol, then you get a little added extra. The basic idea is that you play between 7 and 11 free spins and the collected skibblings will remain between spins. In the super version, you're guaranteed a skibbling rain.
As your wins form, you start to see how the lanterns manipulate the game area and your eye is constantly drawn down to the cannon where the skibblings congregate. If you can get them to blast, you could see some big wins for me and the maximum you'll get out of this slot is 10,000x. As we've come to expect from ELK over the years, the RTP is stuck at 94%.
