It all looks a little too good to be true as we take on Mines+ from Pragmatic Play. This 5x5 game isn't exactly a grid slot, but then again, it isn't a regular slot either. How does it all work? That's what I'd like to know!
Selecting your bet total is easy, and it can be between 0.01 and 250. The paytable will show you how much is up for grabs, and there is a vast range of outcomes. The reason why things are less familiar than usual is that you need to find the diamonds rather than land regular wins.
You select a square from the grid, and if you hit a diamond, your score increases, and if you hit a mine, you lose the lot. You can play with between 1 and 24 mines, and this selection will affect the max win potential.
If there is only one mine present, you naturally have a better chance of winning, so the results are smaller. You will need to hit around 13 diamonds to double your bet, but landing just one diamond will give you a slight profit. You can hit one mine, and then cash out if you like, but it's going to take a long time to get anywhere.
Some players might be tempted to go for 10 mines and 15 diamonds, and in return, they can pick up five times their win by finding three diamonds. You'll have to play around with the options to see what makes you feel the most comfortable.

Some may think that this minimalist design doesn't do the interesting math model justice, but I think it fits quite well. It's nice to see something a little different from this developer, as they’ve become a little predictable lately.
