A top, top catalogue of slots

A kind of ‘hits factory’ in the online slots business, Pragmatic Play’s catalogue extends to over 500 games – 300 or so of which you’ll find reviewed on Slots Gods. And it’s a collection that includes some absolute crackers; both at the popular and iconic ends of the spectrum.

Pragmatic Play is known for its diverse selection of games available – from lively slots such as Heart of Rio to darker ones such as Curse of the Werewolf Megaways. They also have slots for avid fishers with Big Bass Bonanza as well as something that will appeal to those who want something truly beautiful with Wolf Gold.

Slot Gods’ reviewers rate a cool 97 of Pragmatic Play’s games at 3.9 (out of 5) or above. And our reviewers are as tough as nails (not easily impressed)! Top of that list of ringing endorsements are Wild West Duels, Forging Wilds and The Big Dawgs – all scoring 4.25.

Pragmatic Play’s games span a wide range of genres. You will find Wild West, Mythical, Viking, Animal, Christmas, Adventure, Action, Fairytale, WTF and loads more.

Pragmatic Play mission

Industry leaders, visionaries, game-changers… these descriptions are all subjective when it comes to slots developers or indeed anyone or business in the creative industries. However there’s no doubt that Pragmatic Play features somewhere in the leading pack of slots developers in the 2020s.

In their words, Pragmatic Play aim is:

“Powering up new possibilities of play through a single API, we offer a multi-product portfolio of award-winning slots, live casino, bingo, virtual sports, sportsbook and more, available in all major regulated markets, languages and currencies. Driven by our commitment to craft immersive experiences and responsible thrills, we supply games that players love time and time again.”

Sounds about right.

Hold & Spin

Pragmatic Play’s Hold & Spin is one of the great respin mechanics in iGaming – which now features in a number of their slots. Hold & Spin is triggered by landing 5 or more bonus symbols which then triggers 3 respins. These respins are reset with each special symbol that lands and there are often fixed jackpots attached! Interested? Curious? Then try out Dragon Hot Hold and Spin, Lucky, Grace and Charm or Cash Elevator and see how you go.

Pragmatic Play – a bit of background

Although they started in 2007 (originally as TopGame Technology) it was a pretty turbulent first few years in the industry. Despite substantial growth a worrying variety of issues coupled with a less than ideal reputation left the company scratching its collective head.

In 2015 the company underwent a much-needed facelift, receiving a complete rebrand that saw them become Pragmatic Play. The following year they were purchased by investment firm, IBID Group. A new, healthier and happier chapter had begun. Based in Gibraltar, Pragmatic Play is now owned by a private group of investors led by Veridian (Gibraltar) Limited.
