I was uncertain as to how powerful Midnight Marauder ClusterBreaker could be, and the base game didn't show me the true value either. It wasn't until I reached the bonus round that it all became apparent, and my balance started to love the experience. It's easy to conclude that the developer was focusing everything on the bonus round, but I think it's unfair to say that the base game is an afterthought. It's an entertaining mechanic, and you've got loads of features and bonus rounds to look forward to.
