Big Bass is back and this time, you've got some giant bass symbols to keep you company. With a neon glow and retro 80s feel, this version might just prove to be one of the most popular yet.

Gameplay & Features

Don't expect anything out of the ordinary as of this one loads up with a very familiar set of reels, paylines and win structure. There's the usual 5x3 game area with a number of nautical-themed symbols making their way downwards as the bubbles rise to the surface. 

There are just 10 ways to grab a payout, but that has stayed fairly constant throughout most of this series. The royal symbols are still well represented with a maximum 10x return for a group of five aces and the picture symbols deliver exceptional value with a group of five boats getting you a 200x reward. 

The wild fisherman symbol still doesn't appear during the base game, but nobody was expecting that to change, were they? There's also a scatter symbol and these are responsible for taking you through to the bonus area. Money symbols make a return with cash values worth up to 5,000x printed on the fish. Once again, you won't see these helping you out during the base game. 

To make your way out of this base game zone, you're going to need to see three, four or five scatter symbols. Alternatively, players outside the UK can go straight there for 100x or they can pay 160x if they'd like to see a repeat chance. There's also a mega free spins bonus available for 1,250x. 

Bonus Game 

Pragmatic Play seems to be moving into Nolimit City territory with ridiculously large buy-ins available. I'm not quite sure what the 1,250x gets you, but I'll take a closer look at that in a moment. 

You can also use the ante bet to make each spin more likely to trigger the feature and this will cost you 1.50x. 1.60x offers a chance to repeat the feature and 2.50x is a higher chance to win the feature and repeat. 

Once you have acquired a minimum of three scatter symbols, you'll start to see the best parts of the game along with the biggest wins. Some of these money symbols have some staggering figures attached to them and the game's max 5,000x payout could be among them. These symbols can only be collected if a wild fisherman lands at the same time. 

To add a little excitement to this watery treat, you could see some large money symbols growing up to 3x3 in size. You could trigger the bonus round with just two symbols if they hit without a third and the all-important third scatter symbol might be dragged onto the screen by a random feature. 

Scatters on the screen can also move down a position without leaving the grid and this can trigger a respin. An extra scatter can just appear on the screen in a random position, because why not?. 

Before the bonus game splashes merrily into view, you get to pick from 12 possible cards to reveal modifiers that will assist you on your quest to pick up that maximum payout. You can add extra money symbols to the reels with a higher chance of grabbing the higher-value ones and remember that the top payer could bring you a 5,000x haul. Improved multipliers are also available, pushing them to x4, x6 and x20. An additional three fisherman symbols will retrigger the game and a mega modifier makes sure all of the other modifiers are available. 

Don't forget that the fisherman symbol not only collects the money symbols, but they're also added to the meter and every fourth fisherman wild gets you an extra 10 free spins and pushes the multiplier even higher. 

A few bonus features make a return from earlier on in the series when a combination of wilds or money symbols land without the other. These mini features can dive down and bring the desired combo together and grab you a win.
