To grab a standard win, you need matching symbols to land on adjacent reels, and the best bang for your buck is a group of six lions. This top payout is worth 25x, and you also have some wild symbols which substitute for regular payers.
Each time a win takes place, the winning symbols disappear, and you'll also notice that the symbols along the extra row at the top of the game area move to the left. If they eventually make their way to the leftmost position, they drop onto the grid.
