As is traditional with crash games, you don't have any reels, rows, paylines, bonus games or anything else to distract you from the simple but gripping action that is laid out before you. With most crash games, you simply choose your bet amount and watch a multiplier rise and fall while you decide how long you want to leave your money in the game. Things are similar with this game, but there is a big difference.
You may see this as a downside or potentially a huge upside. You place your bet by choosing a fixed amount, worth between 0.10 and 100. You do this by choosing the counter to the left or the right of the game area. These counters are gold and blue and both represent something quite distinct that you need to be aware of.
The gold bet area features very low volatility and the blue one is extremely high. They both have their own chart that sets off ebbing and flowing as you hit the button but at no point do you need to worry about cashing out. The graph will simply go from point A to point B and the win multiplier ends where it ends.
Each bet zone allows you to place up to 50 per line and between the two, you get your maximum input of 100. It only takes a few seconds for the graph to reach its destination and you'll soon know exactly how much you've won or lost.
Like most other crash games that have been released over the last few years, there isn't much happening in the bonus department. I've spoken to developers before about the possibility of integrating more bonus features and they've all told me that it is perfectly possible. I'm not sure why they haven't really explored these ideas, as I'm sure players would love to see a little variation throughout a crash game. There's nothing to buy into and no scatter symbols to look out for, so you can forget about feature buys or anything like that.

Look to the left and you'll see the gold bet zone, which features low volatility and over to the right, there's the blue zone with high volatility. The gold trader graph stays fairly steady and won't deviate too far from its starting point but the blue one can shoot up and down with large dips and peaks in your profits. You can take your pick between the two volatility types or you can bet on both!
The game officially has a very low volatility setting but that is only half the story. If you choose to play with low volatility, don't expect to see much nail-biting action as the line stays fairly steady across the graph and your wins or losses will be fairly minimal. This could be a great strategy to aim for, seeing as the max win is only 3,000x. The high volatility version is for players who just want to get the job done and get out of there as quick as possible but the risk is that their balance may suffer as a consequence. Finally, there is one stat that deserves a special mention and that’s the 99.07% RTP!
Buck Stakes has gone for a standard trading platform view, which we've seen before in other crash games.
