Making your way into the free spins bonus will see the board flip and swap everything around. I'm not quite sure what the benefit is yet but I'm hoping that after a few spins, all will become clear.
Super Flip Deluxe doesn't feel like it's been years in the making. It's got quite a brash approach to not only the design but also the game mechanics. However, the game area does flip at some point and that's got to be worth checking out.
You begin with five reels and three rows, which doesn't change despite the flipping activity. Wins land across 20 paylines and you'll need a group of three, four or five matching symbols to pick up a reward. The lowest payers are the card suits and you'll get up to 1x for a group of five of these. The fruits and other symbols will pay up to 12.50x. The game's bonus scatter symbol can pay up to 10x if you get a group of five.
The four jackpot prizes will burst onto the scene just as soon as you see a lucky gold coin appear over the top of one of the regular symbols. It won't happen every time you see one but all of a sudden, you'll be delivered a cash payout. The jackpot prizes range from 10x to 1000x.
During the base game, and bonus game for that matter, a smart respin might take place when the first and second reels show complete stacks of the same symbols. The rest of the reels will respin and you could improve your returns. Wild symbols substitute for other regular payers and three or more scatter symbols will take you to the free spins bonus.
As soon as you begin your 15 free spins, you're informed that the reels are about to flip for greater wins. After seeing it in action, I'm still not entirely sure how this helps! It's a strange concept that still has me baffled.

I can't really see how the flipping action improves the win potential and I'm still not entirely sure why it was added in the first place. It does give the game a bit of a gimmicky edge and if gimmicks are your thing, then knock yourself out! Base game wins delivered over 10x occasionally but the one time I made it to the bonus game, I only saw 3.50x. Despite the modest 1,200x max win, it did feel like a fruitless challenge. The volatility is medium and there's a range of RTPs available.
Play’n GO often opts for some cheesy voiceover sound effects and perhaps some players find this endearing! It all fits together with the bland background and unimaginative theme tune quite nicely. There isn't much in the way of animation but at least the colours are bold and attractive! The biggest plus point is probably that you can play on your mobile phone.
I wasn't expecting too much when I opened up Super Flip Deluxe and that's just as well as it didn't deliver much either! The whole display struggled to get me excited and even the main selling point of a flipping game area didn't make much sense to me. I'd like to say it was a nice try but it seems like Play’n GO might have run out of ideas this week.
