Relax Gaming seems to have hit a rich vein of form over the last few weeks and some of their new releases are going to be big hits for certain. Bill & Coin 2 has the added advantage of an existing fan base but I think even on its own it would stand out from the crowd.
You are welcomed by quite a busy-looking set-up with six reels and four rows offering wins in over 4,000 ways. Matching symbols start their combos on the left-hand reel and make their way across to the right. You can't have any gaps in between the sequence of matching symbols.
Some of the regular payouts are quite small and unless you grab a group of six royal symbols, you won't be getting your bet amount back. The fruits produce up to 2x and the star of the show is the blue gem with a 10x top payout.
Wild symbols can substitute for regular symbols and the wild bones will also occasionally offer a multiplier that is applied to your win total for each sequence. Up to 6x is available during the base game.
The coin symbols also show multiplier values and these help to boost any individual payouts that form during the tumble sequences. The coins will drop as symbols below them are removed and if they make it to the bottom of the grid, the multiplier is yours.
You will need at least three bonus symbols to trigger the bonus features but if one of them is a super bonus symbol, then you'll get something a little special in return. First, there’s a choice that needs to be made with a multiplier ladder, sticky coins and a book bonus version all available.
If you go for the multiplier ladder, you'll see each spin increasing the multiplier and dice values can also help boost this along a little. If you go for the coin version, they remain sticky and nudge down with each spin to bring you some amplified wins. Finally, the book bonus is a pretty traditional idea where one symbol is chosen and will expand if it lands during the feature round. The super bonus game gives you a combo of all three.
Outside the UK, there's a chance to upgrade spins and buy directly into the bonus feature with 10x giving you a higher chance of triggering the bonus, 5x guarantees a bone wild and 25x guarantees a full row of coins. Coin and dice symbols offer two distinct benefits but both can improve your wins immensely! There is a super bonus game and a regular bonus game and the main difference is that the super version has three modifiers but the standard version requires you to choose just one of them. You might go for sticky coins, which nudge to the bottom of the grid and add a multiplier, or you may go for the multiplier ladder that increases with every spin and could provide over 500x. The book bonus chooses a symbol that will expand each time it lands during the round.
The base game symbols are pretty valuable considering that they can be enhanced so nicely by the multipliers that affect the results in two different ways. It's nice watching individual wins get boosted and then as you watch the total get multiplied as well, things can really start looking up for your balance. The super bonus game is obviously where the big wins could be found with all three modifiers making this an exciting prospect. Up to 15,000x is on the cards and I don't see why it wouldn't drop at some point.
The fan favourite imagery of Bill & Coin is back once again and this time it takes on an Egyptian twist. The grid is laid out nicely with very little reference to the zone but the soundtrack does add a few hints here and there. It's a nice mixture of holiday/Ancient Egypt that you won't find on many other slots I don't imagine. Despite the large grid size, the game still looks great on mobile phones.
Bill & Coin was an instant hit when it first arrived and Relax Gaming has taken the original idea and improved it with some fantastic modifiers that seem to appear regularly, keeping the action flowing.
