We saw these reels produce some huge payouts last time they appeared on our screens in Ryze, and we're hoping for more of the same as Ryze 2 makes its debut in March 2026. To land a standard win, you need to see winning symbols form a cluster of at least five symbols. The most basic payouts are worth up to 1.5x, and the more valuable ones will deliver prizes worth up to 10x.
That's not a huge amount for 15 or more matching symbols, but that's where the multipliers and orbs come into their own. Sticky wild multipliers are added when a cluster of only payout symbols is formed, and the multiplier can increase for each payout or coin symbol in the winning cluster if the opposite happens.
Multiplier wilds can form part of a winning cluster, and their multiplier values get added together.
Coin symbols show a multiplier of your bet amount, and a cluster of these will pay the value shown on the coins. They can also be joined together with multipliers.
The orb symbols will lie dormant until they're activated, and you need a winning cluster adjacent to one of these to activate them. Alternatively, activating a burst symbol will also do the trick. If all six orbs are activated during a spin, the orb overload will trigger, and you see activated and assigned orbs displaying their features. These features include spawn coins, symbol shifts and more. My particular favourite was the Empower Wild, where a multiplier wild gets doubled.
There's a standard and super version of the free spins bonus, and it all begins with a bonus symbol reaching the bottom of the grid. If this happens, you get seven bonus plays, and you can pick up extra spins as you play for free.
If the super bonus symbol gets to the bottom of the area, then you see the same outcome, but now, multiplier wilds will remain sticky, and each spin starts with an orb overload.
Outside the UK, you can go straight to the free spins area for 100x. Otherwise, you can pay 500x and see the super bonus come to life.
Winning clusters next to a dormant orb will activate it, or you could activate a burst symbol to do the same. If all six orbs are activated, the overload triggers, and you'll see all of the powers come together as one. You can still experience all the bursting, coin merging and orb powers that you enjoyed from the bonus game.
Without a doubt, the biggest wins will come if you're lucky enough to trigger these super bonuses. These sticky wild multipliers and guaranteed orb overloads are where the fun is at, and the huge payouts too. The base game can still trigger some pretty handsome results though, so don't be upset if you spend a little bit of time here. It took me quite a few spins to get into the bonus features, but it was well worth the wait. On a good day, Ryze 2 is capable of blasting out a 10,000x max win.
With symbols cascading and others rolling their way towards the bottom of the grid, you need some coherent graphics to make it all happen. Luckily, ELK is one of the best in the business when it comes to slots like this.
