Back in 2024, I saw this strange little bonus circle appear in SixSixSix, and it was clear that this idea would soon make more appearances. It gets another outing today in Pray for 6, and it seems like the concept has become even more beneficial to our bankrolls.
Regular wins land in a scatter pays formation, and you need at least eight matching symbols to pick up a payout. You can grab over 19 matching symbols, and the top prize for the best payer is 555x.
There is a total win bar, which adds up any payouts during a winning sequence, and you'll see some wailing wheels. When the 6 symbol lands, it activates the wailing wheel in that position and will spin through to bring you a gift. It could be cash prizes, multipliers or potentially even the max win. When multipliers land, these figures are applied to the total win bar.
Three scatter symbols let you play 10 free spins, and you have an increased chance of landing the 6 symbols. The four-scatter version it's fairly similar, but the total win bar is now progressive. The hidden bonus requires five scatter symbols, and at least one 6 symbol will land with every spin.
You can guarantee a spin with at least one 6 symbol for 50x, and you can enter the standard bonus game for 100x.
When these symbols land, they activate a special modifier, and a wheel appears. The wheel will spin and land on multipliers, cash wins, and potentially even the maximum payout. The additive multipliers can reach 333x, and the multiplicative ones can grow to 33x.
You get three versions of the free spins bonus, and these require three, four or five scatter symbols. Everybody receives 10 free spins, and the basic version simply gives you a better chance of landing a 6 symbol. In the middle version, the win bar is progressive, and the top version sees a guaranteed 6 symbol with each spin.
Big win potential is always nearby with Hacksaw Gaming, and even though this slot has a medium volatility setting, you might still see the occasional ridiculous payout! For the most part, my balance remained fairly buoyant, and with the help from a couple of 6 symbols and some multipliers, they took me over 30x in front of where I started. The max win is 20,000x, and this could drop each time that 6 symbol appears.
Minimalist is one way to describe this game, and it almost borders on slightly uninspired. It's a very recognisable design from Hacksaw Gaming, but perhaps a little more detail was necessary. Satan's baby makes an appearance to the side of the game area, and you can make out a few scribbles that he's left behind on the nursery wall. The monochrome colour scheme is offset nicely by a few colourful elements to help everything stand out.
Pray for 6 is all about the excitement that occurs when a 6 symbol turns up. For the rest of the time, you are simply waiting for regular wins. It is a big modifier though, and it has enough power to carry this game on its shoulders. Definitely worth a spin or two.
