Pirots 3
Our Rating
The dregs of society clash today in a bar brawl hosted by Wicked Games. The slot is called Last Call, and it features a number of unsavoury characters battling out to land you big wins. At best, you could down a 10,000x max win, and to get there, you're going to need a few nudged wilds, knuckle dusters and knockouts!
Full review continued below ↓Drunken shenanigans on a night out may be something familiar to a few people, but for others, this might come as a bit of a shock. There are lots of trashy characters ready and waiting with a beer in hand, and once they've finished fighting, who knows where they'll go. It's probably better not to know.
The base game mechanics are pretty simple and you have 20 paylines that can grab you standard wins worth up to 2.50x. The low payers will just about return your base bet for a group of four.
The main modification here is the wild symbol – a beer bottle that stands four positions high. At any point, it can get nudged fully into view to become a wild reel.
The bonus game comes in a silver and gold format and both are equally as dangerous as each other. The silver game and the gold game begin a fight between up to 3 characters on each side.
The difference with the gold version is that you have a better chance of landing higher wins.
There’s a health bar that gets attacked by each side, a win total, and a victory total.
Both teams start with 100 points, and each time two characters clash, the health points are reduced. Whoever wins the fight will award the prize.
You get to choose your team at the beginning of the round, and if your team wins the individual fight, the prize heads into the win pot rather than the victory pot. You can imagine what happens if the competitor wins the fight – it goes to the victory pot!
Cash values are worth up to 1,000x, and some characters may hit a multiplier of up to 10x. If your team wins the overall brawl, then not only do you pick up the win pot, but you get the victory pot as well.
Players can take on the standard feature for 95x, and the gold one for 400x.
The game begins with 100 health points on each side, and you need to pick a side before the punches are thrown. The gold version of the game will hopefully get larger prize values. Characters from either side will square up to each other, and whoever wins the fight will award their cash values or multipliers. If your side prevails at the end of the night, you'll pick up the winnings from your pot and the other side as well.
The win potential during the base game may not seem obvious because of those low symbol values, but at least you only need to get a wild symbol somewhere in view to potentially see an entire stacked reel. This helped me out on a few occasions, and I found that the standard payouts were around 2x. Things got a lot better during the bonus game, but the overall buy-in cost is quite a gamble – I guess that's the name of the game! My balance ended up slightly below where it started, but that's to be expected from time to time. Hopefully, your spins will return a better result and potentially take you to the 10,000x max win.
The design team might have had a few beers before getting down to business and has come up with quite an odd selection of characters. You've got the blonde trailer trash, a priest, and a bunny with a gun! During the bonus game, other characters are introduced, and they battle it out to win you big prizes. The animations don't go into too much detail, and the symbols will simply clash together to see who wins the fight. It's one of the strangest slots I've seen for a while, but it is coming from Wicked Games after all. It's a good effort and it looks decent on mobile phones as well.
If I were to have one complaint about Last Call, it would be a slight lack of base game action, but these guys are obviously keen to get you into the bonus round and watching the fights unfold as soon as possible. Players are going to be tempted to buy their way in directly – I know I was! It's worth picking up and taking for a spin just to see how creative this slot developer can be, and you never know, you might land that 10,000x max win at the same time.
