Grabbing a standard win comes by landing at least five matching symbols anywhere on the grid – the only requirement is that they are touching horizontally or vertically. The lowest payouts are worth up to 10x and the highest can pay up to 100x.
There aren't many symbols to watch out for, and when you pick up a win, those symbols will disappear to make room for new ones. As this happens, you might see an exploding wild symbol that removes a group of other symbols and produces a multiplier grid. When new wild symbols land on top of these, the multiplier will double up to 128x.
It's also worth pointing out that this wild / multiplier action can also take place at random moments without a win being necessary.
Three scatter symbols will take you into the bonus game, but unfortunately, you won't see your multiplier grids go with you. Instead, this resets, but you can build it back up again. At certain points, the wins just kept on coming during the base game, and I suspect this is largely because there are so few symbols that it appears to be easier to land a cluster. As it happens, that big hammer could turn up and start smashing out some multipliers, and you might be surprised at just how big those standard wins can grow. This gets even better during the bonus feature when they stick around and continue to increase. I was lucky enough to enter the bonus and I walked away with quite a modest win worth 13x.
It sounds like something particularly grand is about to take place when you hear this soundtrack! Fiery elements are all around, and even one of the symbols is a character with a beard that seems to be ablaze. Everything looks hot and potentially dangerous.
