Thankfully, ELK can turn an otherwise mind-bending idea into quite a simple one by laying it all out perfectly. It begins with collecting gems, and the coloured characters will pick up the corresponding coloured gems.
In their basic states, these gems are worth up to 0.10x each. When you start to upgrade them, they can reach up to 12.50x. You do this by collecting upgrade symbols and you can also transform gems into the same colour so that they can be collected by the same builder.
Dynamite will explode symbols in random directions and coins will instantly pay a multiplier amount. Tunnels let them move in different directions and the walkie-talkie will call Karen at head office to replace a random collector on the grid. Wild symbols act as they always do and the level up symbol will expand the grid.
The Building Time game mode can occur when this special symbol is collected and you'll see rows created that correspond to a multiplier, and the more complete rows you get, the bigger the multiplier.
If you collect all symbols on the grid, you move into Employee of the Month mode and the ladders are applied to allow collectors to climb to the next level of the building and claim cash prizes.
4 collectors being killed will start the Heaven mode and the 8x8 grid will pay with symbols at level 7.
Collecting 3 bonus symbols will trigger the bonus game and you now have 5 free spins to make the most of what's available. The bonus game doesn't offer anything different to the base game, but there's a super version which brings upgraded gems.
Outside the UK, players can take on the regular bonus for 100x and the super version for 250x.
Employee of the Month, Building Time and Heaven are all available to offer a little side action when you perform certain tasks.
