FruitPunk appears to have a bit of an identity crisis on its hands but that shouldn't distract us from the payout potential with increasing multipliers that can boost every win by up to 128x. If we can see past the strange combination of ideas and a slightly lacklustre visual performance, then our balances might be sitting pretty.
You get a sizable 7x7 grid which produces wins in a cluster pays formation. You'll need matching combos of at least five identical symbols to land anywhere on the reels but they must be touching horizontally or vertically.
A group of five low-paying symbols can grow to 20x but this gets better as you make your way through the ranks and eventually arrive at the top-paying can symbol, which is worth 150x for a group of 15 or more.
As wins are formed, matching symbols that create the wins will disappear and new ones head down to repopulate the game area. In addition to this avalanche action, you also see the squares receive a highlight effect and the next time a winning symbol lands and helps form a combo in the area, the multiplier begins to grow. It makes its way from 2x all the way up to 128x if you continue the winning sequences in the same area.
The only other action you'll see while spinning these reels is the possibility of landing some free spins scatter symbols. Between three and seven of these will trigger up to 30 free spins and you can re-trigger these by landing more scatter symbols throughout the bonus.
