I prefer playing this on a larger screen to feel the full effect of those ghostly spirits making their way around the board and indeed the tavern.
There's enough going on here to keep even the shortest of attention spans happy, and while this is happening, your balance could be building up quite nicely. It isn't strictly necessary to see the crew features to grab a decent win, but it certainly helps. The bonus game obviously makes things easier with the persistent multiplier, but in general, favourable results and entertaining moments can be found regularly in Dead Man's Crew.
