Very few slots take you so deep underground, past where mere mortals search for gold, and arrive at a Dark Forge. This slot has an odd layout with an uneven number of symbols on each row, and some hot features waiting to burst into flames.
If Satan is going to forge you some big prizes, then you'll need to pick up some standard wins across these five reels. The basic symbols can fetch you up to 2x. Wild symbols will substitute for regular payers.
Matching symbols must land on adjacent reels, and each time a win takes place, the symbols are removed and the multiplier will double. When your wins run out, the multiplier resets.
If a symbol appears as a lightning symbol, it will remove one of the four upcoming multipliers from the meter if it takes part in a win. A gold symbol might form part of a win, and this will convert into a wild.
Your free spins come when you land between three and five scatter symbols, and in return, you'll get up to 8 free spins. The multiplier resets to 1x at the beginning of each spin, but each of the steps that have been removed by a lightning symbol will not appear again.
The super free spins version is triggered if one of the three scatter symbols is a super scatter symbol, and any symbol on the third reel will be a lightning symbol or gold. Once again, multiplier steps that are removed by lightning symbols will disappear until the end of the bonus. Players can grab the bonus game by paying 100x or 300x for the super game. There are other add-ons to help boost the entertainment value and potentially land you extra wins for a price.
The lightning symbol appears at any time during the base game and free spins bonus, but you won't see it on the first or last reels. If it takes part in a winning combo, it will remove one of the four upcoming multipliers from the meter, and this should help send future wins in the same sequence even higher.
You can land between 8 and 12 free spins when between 3 and 5 scatter symbols land. Unfortunately, the multiplier will reset between spins, but any removed multipliers will remain off the grid for the duration of the bonus. The super version requires a super scatter symbol to trigger the bonus, and as an extra enhancement, all symbols on the third reel will be lightning symbols or gold symbols.
There is big win potential in this game, but you need to see the multiplier meter stretch as high as possible. This means a long run of winning sequences, and hopefully, that lightning symbol will remove a few integral steps. It happened to me a couple of times, and I jumped straight up to 32x on occasion. I'm not sure whether the bonus game is worth paying out the 100x for, because I saw it fail to return my bet on three occasions. You might have better luck though, and it could turn your wins into something as large as 20,000x.
