At first glance, these levels feel a little bit like they've come from the Blueprint playbook, with different types of collector symbols making their way into the game at different times. The one defining factor that separates this idea is how the free spins play an integral role in the base game.
There are 50 paylines and regular winning combos are made up of groups of three, four or five matching symbols. The most basic royal symbols will get you up to 1x but the picture symbols are happy to pay up to 6x. If you get a group of five wild symbols, not only do they substitute for other regular payers, but they will also pay you 20x.
You need six or more cash symbols to land on the screen to trigger the free spins bonus and these symbols provide values worth between 0.5x and 10x. Alternatively, they may be one of the five jackpot prizes. Each time you trigger the free spins bonus, you move up a level for the next time you play the base game.
The first time this happens, you'll see the cash box symbol added to the reels and these will collect and award the cash symbols that land during a spin. The next level is the cash safe and these turn royal symbols into cash symbols and collect them. Level 4 brings a cash vault and this acts in the same way as the cash safe but also brings a multiplier along with a special bonus round.
As we've seen, there are a couple of bonus games and the first is the free spins which requires no introduction. The second game comes at level 5 when the special vault spins bonus turns out.
At the start of this feature, a multiplier is set, depending on the number of cash symbols that are on the reel. When a new cash symbol lands, it's multiplied by the current multiplier and at the end of the spin, that multiplier will grow by one. The prizes stay in place until the end of the round and any new cash or bonus prizes that land will give you an extra three spins. Effectively, it's a respins bonus where you pick up cash and jackpots.
Paying 10x will guarantee that your spin lands one or more cash symbols and either a cash box or cash safe – wilds can't land and all features are unlocked. For 35x, you're guaranteed to get 6 or more cash symbols and you'll enter the free spins bonus round. 115x guarantees that a cash vault symbol will land and trigger the vault spins with the increasing multiplier.
Landing six or more cash symbols will take you to the free spins bonus when not only do you play for free but you'll also boost yourself up by an extra level. Each time you move up a level, you unlock a special symbol that can come along and help collect your wins and improve your payouts.
On the 5th and final level, you get to see these special spins taking place where a multiplier is added that matches the number of cash symbols on the reels. At the end of each spin, the multiplier increases and you have three chances to keep the game going. Three spins without a special symbol means game over but when one lands, the spins are renewed.
The theory behind this game is pretty clever but we have definitely seen it before. However, unlike other similar creations, you need to enter the free spins bonus to unleash the power of new base game modifiers. Interestingly, this game has high volatility but a ridiculous hit rate of over 50%, so you're going to see a win with pretty much every other spin, and it's going to have to be fairly small most of the time. That's the theory, but it experienced something slightly different.
What I found was wins of over 5x landing incredibly frequently and my balance looked very happy indeed! Triggering the free spins bonus wasn't difficult and that helped move me up to the next level quite quickly. Within about half an hour, I was well over 100x above where I started.
You may not be a fan of luxury slots like this one but then again, you might not particularly care when you see the payouts available. It's quite an obvious dark green colour scheme with banknotes flying around and lots of gold making up the main part of the game area. It looks pretty crude on all devices but I suspect most people aren't here to see any kind of clever story unfold.
