It doesn't look like AvatarUX is going to throw us any curveballs with this latest release. Everything looks easy to explain and newbies will be able to get involved without any problems.
AstroPop features quite a standard game area, which is unusual for AvatarUX! There are five reels and four rows with wins taking place from left to right and right to left. At least three matching symbols must line up on adjacent reels to grab a payout.
The basic payers are three royal symbols and these will get you up to 0.4x. The medium symbols can pay up to 0.5x and the high-paying symbols will deliver up to 1.5x your bet. These are pretty terrible figures and unless some multipliers help you out, you're going to be a little unhappy!
Luckily, each time a winning symbol takes part in a payout, the symbol disappears and that cell receives a multiplier. The multiplier keeps growing and eventually, you could win with symbols on the same space to offer a multiplier for your next payout.
When any of the multiplier spaces grow to x5 or beyond, you could see some wild symbols randomly thrown at the screen and this will hopefully keep the winning sequences going. There is an option to pay 20x if you'd like to experience a wild spin or at least one cell to reach x5 and wild symbols appear.
3, 4 or 5 bonus scatter symbols are a must if you'd like to play for free and watch the base game mechanics continue. There is a slight twist but it isn't much to get excited about, unfortunately. Try not to panic when you see the symbol values as there’s a chance that several of these wins can land at the same time. The game pays from left to right and right to left, so that should help. I like the growing multiplier but they feel more like a necessity rather than a fun added extra because without them, your balance would plummet. A couple of additional modifiers would have been nice to see and unfortunately, AstroPop just feels a little lacklustre.
