Congratulations, Blueprint! This is my first Christmas slot review for 2025 and it’s still early October! So, they are getting in early but have they peaked too soon? By the look of things, it seems like they've created a near-perfect slot with a collect feature, random cash prizes, free spins and some super upgrades.
You attack this slot with a little trepidation and rightly so because the first two were wildly inappropriate for this time of year! It all plays out across six reels with wins forming on adjacent reels.
A minimum of two matching symbols will get you a win for some of the top payers but three are required for the low-level royal symbols. Wins occur in over 4000 ways and the best of the bunch is Rudolph. Symbol values aren't huge with the top payer only worth 5x, but that doesn't matter too much when you've got some collect action going on.
As you start the game, the first collect symbol is active on the reels, but only on the 1st and 6th. When this appears with a cash symbol, you pick up the win. There are five levels to the collect feature and after you've collected some cash using the first one, you'll be off to have a shot at landing the nutcracker.
This symbol collects cash prizes and it'll step down or up to fill the reel with cash pot or cash prizes. Bonus action takes place in the form of free spin and to get there, you'll need three or more scatter symbols. As always, this Santa is loaded with presents, booze and perhaps a few other things as well. His regular commentary has become quite standard in this series and it reminds you just why this chap is on his own naughty list! You get a nice wintry backdrop, which has a slight Dickensian feel to it and Santa's sleigh looks a little like a restored 70s car. It's a nice mix of old imagery and new features that works well on mobile phones and other devices.
You can't knock the St Nicked series because it's weird, rude and potentially very valuable. The feature selection is great, the imagery is nostalgic and the commentary is as annoying as ever. It will put a rye smile on your face once in a while though, so get spinning!
