You've got plenty to feast your eyes on here, but this new developer has laid it all out clearly, and I don't feel overwhelmed – although new players might. That's a great start for me, and I'm ready to see how this big, glitzy wheel delivers on its promises.
As you've heard, there's no paytable to think about in this game, so how do you grab a win? Well, that all happens on this grid by landing coins in a complete line. Hence the word ‘link’ in the title, I'm guessing.
Cash coins have their own individual values and include jackpot prizes. If you get a complete line, then you land all of the cash. Simple. There's a wild symbol in the middle to help out, and other types of wilds can land.
Symbol values can be increased by wild power-ups, and respins are offered by the wild extra spin symbol. The wild diamond can trigger some free spins.
The Linko wheel might trigger any time a diamond lands, and it awards a prize from the list of jackpots, the multi feature, wild rain or collect. The jackpots are pretty self-explanatory and grow to 2,500x in size. The multi feature adds wild multipliers, the wild rain boosts the value of random coins, and the collect feature will do exactly as you expect it to.
Three diamond symbols will get you 10 free spins, and you can get more with extra scatters. The power up feature is always active, and you can retrigger the feature.

This wheel sits patiently at the top of the game area, waiting for a diamond to randomly boost it into action. At this point, the wheel will spin, and you could pick up a jackpot prize. The 6,000x max win is fairly modest, but I did see some large payouts during my time with this game, and the hit rate is over 30%.
I'm not a fan of pink/purple backgrounds and lots of gold, but that seems to happen quite often with games of this type. Some developers create a storyline and drag the theme down a weird and wonderful path, while others play it annoyingly safe. Unfortunately, Linko Studios has fallen into the latter category. However, it is a matter of personal opinion after all, and you might love watching this unfold on your mobile phone, desktop or any other device.
Linko 5 is an incredible first effort from this up-and-coming developer. It looks like Games Global has uncovered a gem by taking on this studio, and I look forward to seeing where they take their skills next. Hopefully, they'll move it away from the big, bright luxury market and let their designers show some real flair in the future.
