Godly Gains is one of several slots I've seen recently that depict various Gods as some kind of meathead Adonis! This one is busy curling some dumbbells and there's even a little assistance from a golden kettlebell. What has this got to do with big wins and cluster pays, I hear you ask? I'm not exactly sure right now but I intend to find out.
Cluster pays are fairly easy to explain and it means that you need to form a winning combo anywhere on the grid but the symbols must touch horizontally or vertically. A group of five matching symbols is the bare minimum and for this, you can grab it wins worth up to 0.50x. A group of 27 is the highest possible and this number of wilds will fetch you 150x.
Wilds substitute for regular payers and there are several other symbols that should help keep things interesting as we progress. As wins form, they are helped along by a global multiplier that sits at the top of the screen. The way to improve this is by watching the god symbol land and give it a little tweak.
After the wins are created, winning symbols disappear and a new tumble takes place. Once the sequence finishes, the multiplier will reset to 1x. That's about it for the base game action, so let's move into the heavenly bonus round.
Playing for free requires 3 scatter symbols and at the same time, you are introduced to a couple of new ideas. The first is the wild symbol counter and this builds up each time a god symbol lands. The other is a thunder strike symbol and this will either add to the wild symbol counter or boost the global multiplier.

There is a decent amount of win potential here and as with lots of games these days, it's due to wild symbols and multipliers. I like the fact that multipliers can either add to the global figure or they can be multiplied at times. That god mode symbol can work its magic occasionally and you might see a big cluster of 20 wilds added to the grid. I saw my biggest wins occur thanks to this symbol during the bonus game. There’s 15,000x at stake if the thunderbolts and god mode symbols play nicely.
