Landing eight matching symbols anywhere on this grid will get you a payout, and the lowest returns come from the can of beer. You'll need at least 12 of these low payers to return your base bet. The best you can get is a group of 12 or more ducks, and for this, you get 5x.
Matching symbols can land anywhere on the grid, and your payouts are helped along by wild symbols that hopefully grab you extra wins.
Winning symbols disappear, and new ones drop in with a multiplier of x2 added to the position where the symbol used to be. Multipliers that land on top of other ones will result in a double multiplier. Eventually, you could have multipliers up to 8,192x.
xWays symbols turn into regular symbols to boost the multiplier, and the infectious version means that the same symbols on that reel get the xWays treatment.
Bombs will explode and remove regular paying symbols that are adjacent to it, and it also makes the multiplier double in size. After exploding, they turn into a regular paying symbol or one of the modifiers.

The volatility is extremely high, but you probably didn't expect anything else.
In terms of audiovisuals, there isn't much to separate this game from the original, but the more complicated math model does make for a slightly more engaging game area, as far as the eyes are concerned! The big multipliers build up as the scatter pays work their magic, and it all comes together quite nicely! I found it a little harder to follow on my mobile phone, but it wasn't impossible.
It's hard not to compare two games when they're so similar, but we should judge Duck Hunters: Happy Hour on its own merit. You've got a scatter pays set up, which I love, and loads of chances to modify your regular wins. The animations are fun, if not slightly disturbing, and there's a chance that you can hit some ridiculous payouts if you play at the right time. I'm going to say it's better than its younger brother, and you need to take a spin!
