Realistically attainable
Rapid Fire Jackpots mark a growing trend towards more accessible jackpot systems benefitting huge numbers of players. Introduced in 2024, the whole premise of the Rapid Fire Jackpot system is about more attainable prizes. These wins are awarded far more frequently than the average progressive jackpot – meaning prizes are smaller (but definitely not small). Rather than offer dazzling 7-figure sums, Rapid Fire Jackpots supplement the base game, paying out more regularly.
Uniquely rapid
The 5 jackpots include Mini, Minor, Major, Master, and Mega King, and have starting values of between £250 and £7,500. These values are expected to grow quickly, but not to reach the same heights as Jackpot King or other progressive jackpot systems – and that’s the whole point.
In its announcement about the new system, Blueprint Gaming called Rapid Fire Jackpots a “complementary offering to the industry-renowned Jackpot King progressive system”. Jo Purvis, Blueprint’s Director of Marketing and Relationships, called it “the biggest shift in Jackpot gam[ing] in recent years”. And Head of Product, Charlie Jacka said “with our reputation as the Jackpot Kings, we’re thrilled to launch a new product that will shake up the space and offer something new.” These are big words, but we’re inclined to agree!
The Blueprint back catalogue
Blueprint’s ample game library covers a wide range of themes and styles, and this variety is reflected in the Rapid Fire Jackpot games that have been released so far. These include the familiar IP-based titles that Blueprint has become known for, including games like The Lost Boys, as well as versions of some of Blueprint’s most successful originals, like 7s Deluxe and Luck O’ the Irish.
Cross-game consistency
The first game with Rapid Fire Jackpots was King Kong Cash DJPrime8, but Blueprint quickly expanded the network. Because Rapid Fire Jackpot games use the same mechanics and symbols in relation to the jackpot, players become more familiar with how triggering the jackpot actually works. To activate the bonus feature, players need to land 5 Rapid Fire symbols anywhere on the reels. This will then produce a multiplier (between 5x and 1,000x), or one of the 5 progressive jackpots.
With more players winning more prizes, it’s easy to imagine other developers following suit and offering similar faster-turnaround progressive jackpots in the future.
